Drywall and mudding April 5, 2026

Basement is almost completely sheetrocked, including the bathrooms, closets and utility rooms.

Nave ceiling has received another application of mud.

Framing and drywall mudding March 29, 2026

Stairways are installed going up to the Choir Loft, down to the basement, in the Sacristry storage and below.

Ceiling in the nave has gotten its first mud and tape.

Much of the basement has been drywalled as well.

Blown Insulation March 23, 2026

Narthex; Nave; Choir Loft; Baptistry; Confessional; Sacristy; and the Transepts are all insulated!!

We are ready for drywall installation!

Fabric netting was installed in the Narthex; the Baptistry; the Confessional; the Sacristy; and the Transepts.

Photos show that insulation was blown into the voids in the Narthex and the Confessional.

Interior work March 7, 2026

Workers have completed installing the drywall to the ceiling in the nave. Light mounts, fan mounts, and speaker wire mounts have been installed previously, and sheetrock was fitted around these. Temporary lights seen in photo are the locations of the ceiling fans.

Sheetrock has been finished on the ceiling of the Nave.

Interior work up to March 1, 2026

Electric has been run between the service panel and the electrical boxes, to be connected later.

Sheetrock is being installed on the ceiling of the Nave. After the insulation has been placed, the ceiling will be mudded.

Electric boxes have been installed, not yet connected.

Part of the Nave has had sheetrock installed.

Exterior and Interior work, February 8, 2026

The windows have been installed, despite the subfreezing and near zero temperatures. Once the temperatures turned subzero, work returned to the basement. Framing downstairs has been finished, and approved by local authorities. Electrical work and drywalling will start soon.

Interior work

With the snowy weather, work has moved to inside. Classrooms, bookstore, dining room and office's have been framed up. Stairways will soon be constructed. As weather allows, windows will be installed in the chapel.
